Therapy is not always easy. In fact, beginning therapy can feel unfamiliar, uncertain, and at times even uncomfortable. Finding the right therapist can be just as challenging. As you read this, you may find yourself wondering, “Is this the right fit for me?” — and that question itself matters.
Uncertainty is not something to avoid here; it is often where the work begins.
Many of the struggles we experience are not random. They are shaped over time — through relationships, experiences, and the meanings we’ve come to carry, often outside of our full awareness. These patterns can show up in how we think, how we feel, how we relate to others, and even in how we understand who we are.
Therapy, in this space, is not about fixing you. It is about helping you come to know yourself more fully. Together, we begin to explore your inner world — your thoughts, your emotions, your patterns, and the deeper structures that shape your identity. We pay attention not only to what is said, but how it is said, and what may be left unsaid — because meaning often lives there.
Transparency is central to this process. You deserve a space where you can explore what you are truly looking for without pressure or judgment, and where the work feels collaborative, grounded, and real.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and my work is rooted in helping individuals make sense of their inner world and develop a more cohesive sense of self. While I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to provide practical tools for managing thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, I view these approaches as part of a larger framework grounded in psychodynamic therapy. This means that beyond symptom relief, we work to understand the deeper patterns and meanings that shape your experiences.
This integrative approach allows us to not only build skills, but to explore the why behind what you’re experiencing — creating space for both insight and lasting change.
I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and identity-related concerns. I also have extensive experience working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, including people of color, and approach all of my work through a trauma-informed lens.
My style is collaborative, honest, and grounded. I will meet you where you are, while also gently challenging you when needed — because growth often involves stepping into discomfort.
